Very attractive classic rear wheel drive 2 liter carburatori Alfa Romeo Spider!  And how sexy does it look with this hardtop?

This is a first generation of the Series III with the older and more classic Series II dash and large wooden steering wheel. And the old style steel wheels with the chrome caps. Simple, elegant and timeless all at the same time!

I owned and sold this car about 6 years ago and got the opportunity now to buy her back after the owner had driven only around 5.000 kms with it. I am very happy for this because getting the right cars is often the most difficult and least satisfying.

It speaks for itself that in the past many works are done on this particular example otherwise no chance it would look and drive so good. There are many old invoices on file from various Alfa specialists like Prins Bredevoort, Antoon van Neerijnen, Sam van Lingen, Steutel, Frans van Poppel, Spider-Point, etcetera. There is no history on the very early days but enough to conclude that this Spider was in good hands for the last 20 years. A taxation report from 2006 also confirms the good and honest quality. The metallic silver paintwork is very clean, and there are no specific remarks here. All the glass is good as are the chrome finishes. Both hardtop and softtop are in good condition as is the interior. I think the photos will confirm.

Great Spider. And an all time classic. They never get bored and are welcome at every event anytime and everywhere.
