Alfa Romeo

Giulia 1300 Super

61 years after it's launch in 1962 the distinctive styling of the Giulia still is very modern and a great combination of practical design without compromising on the sporty character of

a real, rear wheel drive Alfa Romeo.

We are very proud to offer you this car with some great and unique highlights to say the least.

 - Sold new by Belgian Alfa Romeo dealership Garage Valkenborgh in Hasselt / Belgium on the 18th of March 1971.

We have the original sales invoice available together with the original "Certificat de Conformité" also dating from 1971.

The car was sold for 148.081 Belgian Francs 25% salestax included.

- This Giulia only had 1 local owner. The complete history of the car is tracable in a small booklet in which every important item that had to do with the car's history was carefully written down. You can "read the car" so to say which of course is a very pleasant way to discover it's very early and later adventures. At one moment in 1980 and at 18.000 kms there was a problem with a piston and the 1.3 liter engine was replaced with a more powerful 1.6 liter unit which came from a 1600 Spider. This engine still is in the car today. Please check one of the photos that shows a page from the logbook.

- In the last couple of years the car underwent an interesting restoration with respect for the original materials:

Body resprayed in the original colour Bianco Spino

Engine completely rebuild and only driven around 300 kms since

Suspension and brakes renewed

Brand new exhaust

All glass and chromes are still the first ones

Complete original interior with only new carpets

It's a real pleasure to drive this Giulia, the gearbox works very smooth and the steering is quite direct. Everything works as it should be, you feel the car is just out of restoration and that it needs to be driven again. A great job has been done if you ask me and I am sure the new owner will appreciate the modesty and character of this real Italian very soon.
